Pens Pre-Game #15: Penguins vs. Coyotes- Trying To Stop The Tailspin

Penguins vs. Coyotes

The Penguins are looking for any life. They're still in the loss column and now for a stunning 5 games in a row. They dropped yet another to the Caps on Wednesday, 2-1. Evgeni Malkin got ejected. The entire team got dejected. And tonight they face the Arizona Coyotes at home and will attempt to find any possible spark to turn their losing luck around. Pittsburgh Penguins (6-5-3) vs. Arizona Coyotes (7-6-1) at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA at 7:30PM (EST) The Pens are still at sea and running out of time to turn things around before the team is forced to make major changes. Their next chance to do so is vs. the Coyotes this evening. Pittsburgh has only managed to score 4 goals at all in their last 4 games played and they're going up against a Arizona team who has made a name of late as a stingy group. They've allowed only 34 goals against all year and their penalty kill is fantastic. It's been one of the most buzzed about topics in the league recently. So the Penguins are in a bad way, not scoring much, going up against a ungenerous opponent for offenses, and under tons of pressure to keep from going to a 6th loss in a row. It's not easy to be a Pittsburgh Penguin right about now. On to the game details....
