FINAL NOTES ON THE GAME
-Tonight will be Conor Sheary's first game back in Pittsburgh since being traded to Buffalo.
-The Pens announced today that Matt Cullen is injured and will be out for the long-term. He scored vs. Ottawa, despite it being the game where he apparently sustained an injury.
-Meanwhile, after Saturday's loss, the Pens own the worst record in the Eastern Conference this late into a season for the 1st time since the 2005-06 season.
-Patric Hornqvist now has goals in 3 of the last 4 goals after Saturday vs. the Sens.
-Phil Kessel is on a 4-game point streak.
-Evgeni Malkin is on a 3-game point streak.
-Conversely Malkin also has a 6-game penalty streak going for him. His all-time career high in that category in 8-games.
